Seriously, if you have one good recipe in your arsenal, you're doing better than a lot of people! This could be your magic weapon---this simple cookie. It's full of buttery yumminess with just the right touch of vanilla. And it's possibilities are unlimited---you can add any type of chip or morsel you prefer, nuts, raisins, oatmeal...I love versatility in food, and THIS recipe never fails to deliver. In the video, you'll hear me go on and on about how necessary salt is in baking. I can't stress it enough, y'all. If you want nice baked goods, you have to use the right amount of salt. And you'll hear me speak about my experiment with turbinado sugar. If you're not familiar with it, it's basically just raw sugar that has not been processed much or refined into the white granulated sugar most Americans are so familiar with. A head's up--the experiment was a bust. What a disappointment it is when a batch of cookies bombs out! Luckily, if you follow my directions, you won't have to worry about that! So, with that being said, I wish you all days of very HAPPY BAKING!
